Common Raslow Errors
Labview Error Box issues
- Serial Readtimeout 6812 (this can happen if the power is off to the 6812, or sometimes rarely it happens but does not affect the system as long as data is streaming)
- IMU read,
- Check IMU port (should be Port 13,)
- If IMUdriver.vi was successful and start up, go to step 3, otherwise exit top.vi and start IMUdriver.vi
- Check for any other programs using the serial port (i.e. hyperterminal or another labview program)
- Toggle the IMU switch off and start the program, then toggle on, check Device Manager
- One Sonar Producing Huge Number,
- Check electrical wiring (jiggle connector) on the affected sonar,
- Try using a different sonar.
- One Encoder not working
- Check mounting position of sensor, push inward gently similar to the working encoder on the other side
- Check wiring near 6812 , jiggle jiggle !
- GPS not getting signal
- Why are you using the GPS ?
- Heading Hold not working or Robot acting insane
- Check for lag in IMU by watching the robot move visually and compare with top.vi IMU dial display
- Shutdown Labview and reopen top.vi
- Adjust timeout (the should be the last possible case)
- Check that IMU is getting data,
