Robotathon Workshops Scheduled

  • Workshop: What is this?
    This is an introductory workshop that will teach you about all the robot lingo, parts, and processes that we use. Topics we'll cover, motors, motor control, types of robots, autonomous vs remote control, and much more.

    Length: ~1 hour.
    Dates: Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15
    Times: 7 pm and 8 pm, two sessions both days
    Location: Monday in ACA 1.104, Tuesday in ENS 306

  • Workshop: Soldering
    We'll teach you the basics of through-hole soldering. We'll even assemble a blinking LED circuit.

    Length: 1.5 - 2 hours.
    Dates: Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18
    Times: 7 pm on Thursday, 7 pm on Friday

  • Workshop: Workshop
    We'll help get your certified in the ENS 2nd floor workshop. We'll also go over the Trailer tool rules and how to safely use them.

    Length: 1 - 1.5 hours.
    Dates: Monday, September 21 and Tuesday September 22
    Times: 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm, two sessions both days

  • Workshop: Programming
    We'll give you a crash course in robot programming in C.

    Length: 2 hours.
    Dates: Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25
    Times: 7pm on Thursday, 7 pm on Friday
