RAS Attends Maker Faire in Austin

The IEEE Robotics & Automation Society at UT-Austin attended the first Maker Faire to be put on in Austin, Texas at the Travis County Fairgrounds. Members demonstrated and answered questions about robots and RAS. The faire was started by Make magazine to show cool inventions from individuals and groups from all across the country. The Maker Faire in Austin will take place again next year on October 18-19, 2008 and RAS will definitely be there again.
